The amont of cash put into this PR assistance is not much, so I expect that there won't be much to come out of this. However, it seems to be an acknowledgement that PR assistance is needed. It could also be aimed at reducing the level of effort that DW has to put into IR and PR himself. It amounts to a part-time salary with a good incentive to raise share price, as the 300,000 shares is a motivator.
The company option plan is a small but very good way to reward those sticking to Tyhee. Remember, keeping good people is essential to the core competency of finding gold and advancing this project, even in a recession. Or especially in a recession?
So, there has not been any substantive news release on a drill program, or other progress / commitments made after the closing of the private placment? Well, August doldrums continue.
I guess it's necessary to go back on vacation for another month and look again!
But seriously, not much happening in Tyhee land. HOWEVER< here is an interesting link to a July 20 article in which Hugh Wilson lays out a proposed infrastructure map for NWT, and it would be a benefit to Tyhee as it passes near NL (Ormsby, NIcholas Lake etc).

I could see the road getting funded, as it serves the arctic communities and opens up for development, but the nuclear power idea is not going to get much support.
But efforts to get government funding to improve infrastructure in NWT, at a time of governement needing to spend lots of cash for stimulus and to keep the Cdn Dollar from flying too high, just may lead to a windfall for us.
ALSO in the TYhee news:

Takes you to the July 21 letter from MVEIRB to Tyhee. MVEIRB is standing fast on the suitability of expanding the requirements for Tyhee to prove it won't harm water quality even beyond the previously established study area. This represents the board keeping the onus on Tyhee (and their consultants/experts doing the work) to prove that they won't make a mess of the water quality. Really not much new here.
Will check in again in a month or so.
Focussin on other things for the summer, and look forward to lots of good things taking place around or just after the olympics in that fantastic world-class city of Vancouver BC.
