Jim Puplava Is Decent, Accountable and Disappointing.

I am getting emails from all over the world that are expressing dissatisfaction with Jim Puplava's answer to my Q-call yesterday.

(My Q-Call, minute 1:04:55, asked Jim if he knew of those who were predicting last year's profound market crash.)

Frankly, I was stunned by JP's response. Other than Jim recalling one hedge funder who did well by then shorting the market, Jim's answer primarily underlined how mostly HE and his guests, e.g. Peter Schiff, George Soros, Ron Paul had miscalculated how bad things would get during last year's crash.

Jim's response seemed to skirt a direct answer to my question. Since, as it turned out, there were those who did see that great crash coming. Those who JP was either unaware of or simply ignored, e.g. Dr. Mark Skousen, Peter Eliades, David Tice, Bob Hoye.

JP is a decent man who deserves respect for his accountability and avowed fallability. He missed the call on what became a major market event disaster, one that resulted in enormous losses of wealth for many of us who had faith in his foresight and understanding of market trends.

What is irksome to me is what seems to be a major blind spot in his accountabiliy for having missed some very key forecasts of those who saw the disaster coming and who he overlooked or ignored.

Granted JP is, admittedly, not perfect. But there were those who, if he had paid greater attention, might have alerted us (via JP on FSN) to the dangers of not selling our shares well before the great crash had reached bottom.

Sadly, I find limited satisfaction in his respose to my call. From his answer, he seemed to suggest that there was practically no one (not true) who predicted how bad things were about to get. And that he and his very astute contacts who also missed that call, had no idea of what was to come. Some might call this "Group Failure" or "Group Think". I, however, expected more from JP.

It looks as though there were indeed those who knew how much we were about to fall off the cliff. Those who JP failed to take seriously or who he ignored.

Cheers,

Baires
