First thanks for all of your time keeping the TCE share holders informed.
I wanted to help set straight the commonly perceived but erroneous belief that the inflation adjusted 1980 high for gold is 2,300 or so.
I chided Bill Murphy last Thursday that we should be using the Shadow Government Statistics inflation figures instead of the government CPI numbers.
He agreed and Friday he had a chart of the gold price based on 1980 price and then adjusted all prices using a much higher level of inflation
The correct price is $7267.41
So lets not sell ourselves short and think that we get just a double to equal the 1980 inflation adjusted price.
