Lindsay Williams made a comment the other day regarding supposed "elitist friends" of his. He said that one of them said to him, "Gold and silver are 'our money.' That's why you don't pay sales tax on gold when you buy it and no record of the transaction is necessary."

Apparently he was trying to say that they have the laws constructed so they can transact however they wish amongst themselves in complete privacy.

While I'm not sure I put much stock in Lindsay Williams, I thought the comment was fascinating.
