I guess Nouriel the Great and I see things differently. Gold doesn't go up or down or anywhere - the dollar or cando or whatever goes up or down relative to it.

Taking the dollar as a specific example, I'm hard pressed to see how the prolific dollar generation will lead to it becoming more valuable in terms of gold. Sort of like arguing that setting up a snowmaking machine in Antarctica will increase the value of snow.

But what do I know.
