I asked Dave Webb to better distinguish which were the explorers that made it into production on their own from those that didn't.
He said, he couldn't now answer that but there were some well known examples of explorers that did it on their own, such as Minefinders, Gammon, Aurizon, Capstone (copper). He said that it'd be tough to compile an exhaustive list. He suggested it should be done by someone else.
I'm guessing that you were on his mind when he made that suggestion.
Jim Puplava hasn't yet responded to my email.
