From what I understand, Canplats has not processed any permits at this time. Their economics are based only on a PA. They are estimating 122,000 ounces of production for a 10 year mine life, with costs in the $350 range, which would be similar to Tyhee. They are using a fairly low grade of .71 g/t, however.
Your points are well taken. The economics have a huge impact on the purchase price.
This just reinforces for me how much better it would be to own the "1 in ____ (who really knows how many)" companies that actually go it alone into production.
