Is it possible that Barrick, often accused of making moves that just don't make sense, even accues of suppressing gold price, may now be more motivated to allow gold price to rise? They accelerated their closing of the gold hedge book, and are now completely unhedged. So a rise in the POG is no longer a liability.

And as for today's NEWS, very good. But it's only one of a few I am expecting to see. There may also be news on fiancing for drilling at Clan Lake. After all, this 100,000 oz increase was done with very little actual drilling. The mapping out of surface showings does not expand the resource, it refines the follow-on drill targets. Now they need to drill it.
