Some kind of confrontation is inevitable. The world cannot allow Iran to gain nuclear weapons. They may hum and haw until it is too late, but neither Isreal nor other Arabs in the region will let it happen. I suspect the Arabs and the US are already negotiating with Isreal to 'do nothing' but verbal condemnation when Israel bombs Iranian facilities.
