Here follows David Webb's response to my status request msg.
First, as we’ve published in our news releases, the PFS and DAR are on schedule, both expec ted before the end of June 2010, or within the next 120 to 130 days. Below is a brief summary of tasks which we have been following as provided by our contributing engineers:

The process was to take 12 months, and we are 7 months into it. We sta ted it would be comple ted in Q2 2010, H1 2010, or before the end of June 2010. In each case we’re referring to the same timeframe that we sta ted from day 1, and we are on schedule. No delays.
The DAR is equally complex and has its own set of studies:

In addition, a number of alternative studies have been conduc ted , each with an exhaustive list of criteria.
In order to start plant fabrication for the next winter trucking season, we would, from June 2010, have roughly 6 months to obtain permits, raise funds (say $150 million) by way of a debt and equity structure, source and purchase all long lead time equipment and have it delivered to Yellowknife . In short, a very very demanding schedule which although technically it might be possible, it is most unlikely.
We believe we’ll continue to move the project forward according to the schedules we announce. We feel that submission of our DAR will lead to discussion among us, the regulators and local communities about longer term plans (roads, hydroelectric plants etc). Ultimately this infrastructure would assist Tyhee by reducing operating and capital costs. Public discussions take time. We also feel that the PFS will identify issues that will need to be addressed. This could be mine sequencing, tailings containment structure (single or multicell), exploration sequencing (should we focus on expansion of reserves/resources at Clan, Goodwin, Ormsby, Bruce, Nicholas?).
To speculate. We’ll continue to meet our goals and targets as announced this year and be guided by the recommendations in the PFS. Our exploration program will continue to build resources, primarily at Clan Lake . It is most likely that the DAR which will be submit ted on time, will lead to discussions and planning adjustments with community input through the fall 2010. We’ll be able to work on some engineering modifications and may be able to start some construction work (site development, roadways, laydown are development), but not any significant fabrication using the 2011 road for access. We’ll be able to plan our financial structure, order our long lead time items, and could plan on using the 2012 winter road for (or perhaps an all-weather road???) for 2012 construction and early 2013 gold production.
