(PRESS PROFILE TAB FOR FACT SHEET & UPDATES)
Here, paraphrased, is what he emailed me yesterday,
Although Dave said in January that Tyhee will receive assays beginning in 4 to 6 weeks, this is not the same as saying he'd release them in 4 to 6 weeks. This is a very big difference.
Tyhee has rarely, if ever released drill hole assays on hole at a time. Most always it accumulates a significant series of drill data, and subject to materiality, it releases 3 to 6 holes at a time.
Therefore, the usual process is, while one drill hole is being completed every 2 to 4 days, those assays are received 4 to 6 weeks AFTER that hole is drilled, then when would the 3rd or 4th hole get drilled. You may recall that Tyhee started Clan with only one drill through all of January.
Regarding any delays of the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).
In Tyhee’s March 16th press release, the PFS completion date was said to be in “3 to 4 months”. Dave said he sees that from March 16 to June 16 is 3 months and to July 16 in 4 months. So, he now supposes that perhaps he should have said 3 to 3.5 months instead. He said not to read too much into these minor differences. If Tyhee released the PFS next week it could still support the often stated timetable of “before the end of June, 2010”.
And yes, it is true that Tyhee’s press releases are rarely on Mondays or Fridays.
Cheers,
Baires
