The news release was mixed for me. I have posted before that we can't expect much out of ClanLake news releases, as many holes will need to come up short until there are enough holes (in the East extension) to warrant focussed follo-on drilling.
So the drill results, very few that they are, did not provide any new scoring power. but they do progress the understanding of the Clan Lake discovery. I'm hopeful that the next news release will have more holes, and perhaps a hit here ore there. SO that's the not so great side of the news release.
But I agree with Baires, that the upcoming Pre Feas, as early as mid May (early June in my book) is exciting. It'll give us some real details to sink our teeth into. That it's moving left and not right is very promising.
It also means other follow on things, like discussions regarding financing, could get started that much earlier. The Pre Feas will also tell us more about the propsects of a deal on electrical power, how many ounces will ultimately be counted as Reserves, and more on the design of the mine.
Nice to see that quotes for some long lead items are being sought. I think that speaks to actually building a mine....
