(PRESS PROFILE TAB FOR FACT SHEET & UPDATES)
It's not time yet,
After watching BNN for years now, I've always wondered how they select their guests. When I saw Jay Taylor interviewed today, and one of his top pics was San Gold, from here in Maniotba, it really got me thinking.
If San Gold is a good pick becuase it's production is "ramping up" from 700 tpd to 1200 tpd, and given the 3 million ounce deep underground (down to 4200 feet) mine, it's grades are no better than Tyhee's underground grades should be , then SGR has nothing over Tyhee except that they are in procuction (sort of in production, using some very old equipment).
TYhee, when in production, will have a much higher rate of production and use more modern equipment. Tyhee will have open pits to feed the mill, and also have a variety of sources of underground ore. The underground ore grade could well be better than SGR, if Discovery is any guide, and yet these deposits are not as deep underground as the SGR ones are.
Yesterday's discussion on BNN with Conplats CEO, getting good exposure for his new junior venture based on having been taken out by a major, and is only in early plans to start surface exploration in mexico....and yet there they are on BNN getting exposure.
This led me to wonder at when Dave Webb will be invited to talk at BNN, and can talk about the economics of the mine, adn the time frame for it's construction.
I'm not ready to start my own plans to call in every day and send lots of emails to get BNN aware of the Yellowknife story, as I have not yet been able to maximize my own holding of Tyhee. But if whoever does PR for Tyhee, or DW himself are unable to get an invitation, then perhaps the Sprott or other personalities interviewed on BNN will eventually make TDC a top pick. When it suits their interests to let the general investing public know about Tyhee, certainly after they have huge positions in Tyhee.
Or maybe a caller will get through, and ask an analyst about Tyhee, and get lucky in reaching an analyist who is familiar with Tyhee. It would be great to get one of them on the record about the prospects.
But pessimistically, I think BNN screens their calls to only let the ones through on a list that the guest is prepared to speak about, or some other way of controlling the calls.
In any case, Tyhee has way more upside than many of the ones discussed on BNN, and is more advanced in the EA process. And tyhee is certainl NOT KNOWN about by the wider community, or if it is, it's been forgotten over the recent year. Time to remind everybody about where tyhee is at today, with production on the horizon.
I would be very surpirsed if Tyhee is not on BNN by this time next yer, and by "On BNN" I dont mean those little features or ads, I mean interviewed or discussed on the main program. The best comparison would be with Romarco or with Osisco. Romarco may be more similar in some ways, but Osisko has the added value in comparison because it's going into production in CANADA's regulatory environment, which whould be emphasized when looking at Tyhee --both to explain how it's been undervalued, and to highlight the security of a mine in this safe jurisdiction.
When will tyhee come out of obscurity? When it has a market cap over $100,000,000? When it has financing? When a JV is being discussed? Someone calling Tyhee a top pic? Or DW getting interviewed based on coming out with MAJOR news?
thoughts?
-my bet is on ANY of those, and sometime before this August.
But I think it woudl be great if DW were to make contact with BNN when major news is being released. He has excellent public speaking skills, and a very excellent story to tel. Then again, maybe he's already got this idea in his back pocket, and we'll see him on BNN in June!
Here's to seeing Tyhee featured on the main program of BNN this year!
