Raising taxes on mining companies to such a degree as being considered in Australia is bad news in general, with that I agree. The U.S.A. also has legislation to "govern" the mining industry in place. I'm too lazy to look up the bill number at present but it was in the news about 12 to 18 months ago and I've written before saying that I wouldn't own any U.S. mining company.

At the time the Romarco discussion started heating up I mentioned that I wouldn't own any U.S. mining company due to that legislation and was told Romarco would not be subject to it.

Until such time as Canada joins the "greed parade" as they did with the Canroy's; mining stocks in Canada should do BETTER (read GOOD FOR TYHEE) as they will still be allowed to make money for their shareholders rather than the Lords of government.
