Unless exceptional reserve results and/or good mining economics are present, selling to the highest bidder is a euphemism for getting stopped out, i.e., running out of money. In this credit starved market the analogy is trying to sell your house in the U.S. You won't get anywhere near what you want for it. It is, or approaches, an act of desperation.
The time to raise the SP by 35% or whatever is before you exhaust all avenues of financing. That, too, is easier said than done. But you have to try because the stock price is important in the mine financing process.
