Interestingly, when Cannacord was absent the share price moved up to 12 cents, only to be pushed down to 10.5 in later selling all by Cannacord.
Gives me hope that when they are done whatever they are doing, the ball will rise back up towards the surface and we'll breath again!
As for my questions to DW, I asked him about the change from Open and Under at Nick Lake to Under only (economics much better for underground only), confimred that the Clan Lake resources can not be included in the DAR submission as they were not in the original EA commencement. I also asked if the DAR submission still looked like by the end of December, to which DW said he knew of no change in the schedule. The other question was about financing options, and his response gave me some hope. I had asked if Tyhee could somehow relist on the TSX with an IPO to raise $200 million to build the mine (when permits are in hand). DW said somethign to the effect that it can be done, but not exactly that way.
I had talked in person with DW about two years ago, maybe longer, about how much tailings the DAR would include, and what the plan is for the increased resources that become identified after the original DAR / EA process gets moving. At that time he said to the effect that the EA process had to be started based on the known tonnage and waste material. Once it's up and running, and mine life is extended with additional reserves being identified/ discovered as the mine matures, they apply to add these tonnes. Tailings can also be stowed away in empty parts of the underground workings.
My own thinking, which I have raised with DW a number of times, is that once the mine at Ormsby is underway and will be extending its life due to additional gold discovered at depth and near the mine site, the resrouces discovered at Clan Lake and Goodwin lake could feed a second mill, closer to Blue Fish. DW seemed consistent in replying with informing me of how inexpensive hauling the ore is from Goodwin (for sure I agree) and Clan Lake would be.
But it still does not shake my belief that there is going to be more gold in this constellation of properties than a modest mine at Ormsby will handle. SO it will have to expand production as new discoveries are drilled off, or another mill will have to be built. Could even allow some interesting deals to spin off some assets once a lot of attention is focussed on Tyhee's 100% ownership of their claims in the Yellowkinfe Gold Camp.
We are at the early stages of a developing gold mine, and a real success story. We will eventually forget about how painful it was before the mine was built.
