Bankers have been behind the scenes for centuries funding both sides of wars and making boatloads of money in the process.

Obviously bankers had to have some fairly tight relations with the political leaders during this same long period of time.

Are we really to believe that after centuries of running money and politicians and acruing a large portion of the wealth of the earth that they have suddenly become stumbling, blithering idiots?

We are in the midst of the largest financial crisis in history. Do you see bankers getting hurt by it?
