Will they confiscate again? Any country that prints/conterfeits money to buy their own government debt is capable of anything. And while few own gold now, that number will increase as time goes on, even if smaller denominations than 1 oz coins are purchased. And maybe they'll nationalize gold mines via stock confiscation inside or even outside retirement accounts.
