It's all part of the cost of doing business on the BB. This type of stock is not one for "scalping" a quick cent or two. You have the choice of offering what you want to pay and risking not getting filled vs achieving a quick purchase by paying the "vig" which, if the bet pays off, will be a second or third order effect.

Eventually, we all hope, the stock will get listed on the Toronto exchange, then perhaps also the Amex south of the border. Until then, the house cut is big. My personal feeling is that it's way more important to be ready to buy at 7 cents plus a big spread when that occurred than to try and shave a half penny at 15 cents.
