It looks like the market maker decided to push the price down with a couple phony small trades after the price had done well all day.

In comes robo-trader buying everything offered at the ask to prevent the price from being trashed.

That's my take at any rate; you are free to come up with your own.

I'd say a lot more but it won't do any good.
