As I mentioned before, naked shorting is most likely what we see here. I have no other reasonable explanation. When the "frozen" shares are released for trading we will see where the price goes. The direction after the next favourable press release will also be telling.
The name change could be affecting "their" ability to continue shorting the stock. I have no idea but could someone in the know get a ruling on this from a reliable source? Baires, could you ask Dave Webb?
There may be multiples of issued shares out there hidden from regulatory view. Just curious.
