I agree, it's amazing how poorly Tyhee shares have performed despite ever higher gold prices. True, the latest drill results are nothing great, but still, the drill results of the last several years shows Ormsby to be a realistic potential mine site. There is something the market(and JP) does not like about this company, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. I don't think a conspiratorial short-selling theory works for a 15 cent stock. The dependency on Ice Roads in combination with concerns about Global Warming might explain part of it. Also, for a variety of reasons, I have come to wonder about the ability of management handle the process of building a mine and running it profitably. However, I'm not sure what's the primary drag on the stock price; so I put the question to the form: what is holding back the market cap of this company despite the surging price of gold?
