I emailed David Webb asking him about the possibility of a rights issuance. Basically, I mentioned that I was concerned about diluting existing shareholders if Tyhee went the route of a PP to finance the development of the mine. There are many draw-backs to a rights offering. Among them are cost, uncertainty of raising funds and time.
Dave mentioned another financing possibility, as Tyhee moves forward with their permits. It would be through conventional debt financing that is typical in the mining industry. Tyhee's CFO has experience in this area so it may be possible to advance the project with very little dilution of shares.
As we know, Tyhee is working on a updated resource estimate for the FS. I believe that if Tyhee can increase their resources, combined with an increased POG, dilution may not be a major concern afterall.
Bottom line is that we must be patient.
