It remains to be see what happens there but I heartily agree.

Chavez may indeed have just opened that very can of worms.

Whether his request personally triggers the move to physical or not; his request certainly got world-wide publicity and has set many people to thinking about how bad the financial crisis could get and how they need to protect themselves. If the Bank of England does not come up with his gold in timely fashion.....or has no exceptional excuse....
