1) The real threat about this downturn is further tightening of credit/funding for all ventures, especially $200 Million mining ones. Remember - we would not be in this low stock price predicament were it not for the original (2008/2009) dislocation. We'd be looking at 81 cents as a floor, rather than as a long-ago price ceiling.
1a) That said, I feel much more secure having Sprott so financially involved as a big shareholder. Someone on the board (sorry I forgot who!) recently brought up Sprott can probably help immensely when we need the funding. I'm getting to be in that camp more and more.
2) bob - I think it's the dollar because of reflex action in a crisis. If I told you to not move your leg when I tapped your knee with a rubber hammer, you'd move it anyway. Reflex response into the dollar. Maybe that's why after time for thought the PMs are recovering.
