Since you mentioned "mountain top" let me try this analogy.
Let's climb Mt. Everest.
@ $0.40 we are still deep in the heart of the valley.
@ $2.00 we have begun the hike up the mountain.
@ $5.00 we will have approached the level that the guides will take anyone who is in good health. Most people can breathe at this level after a couple days of acclimatiziation.
@ $10.00 we have reached base camp.
@ $20.00 I will be satisfied that we are at camp 5 or have reached the top of the mountain.
I do not believe that those making price projections are taking into account that we are in the midst of a worldwide currency crisis. This is a situation which has never existed before in the history of man. The short-sighted personal interest of most politicians worldwide is to "kick the can down the road" to not deal with the problem and hope the crash comes after they are out of office and have lived the "good life."
QE1, QE2, ... QEn is the order of the day. It will be followed until the inevitable crash occurs. Those against it will be dragged down the road by their compatriots in crime.
If $2.00 is a reasonable price now based on current mine productivity and life and gold goes up by a factor of five (conservatively) the income to the company will probably go up by a factor of ten as much of the increased price in gold will go directly to the "bottom line." Of course costs will go up some but they will not match the rise in the price of gold.
This brief summary does not even take into account that the property itself is most probably far more spectacular than we realize. The geology here favors increasingly high values of gold at depth. Several deeper holes have pointed towards that possibility but it remains mostly unexplored at present.
After Tyhee (and I hope it is still Tyhee) has mined what they have already discovered the share price should be well up the mountain. With gold at such levels the "superpit" becomes a realisitc possibility. Adding to that what will likely be found at depth we just might soar well above the mountain. To let go of such a POSSIBILITY for a relatively few dollars of profit is more than I can bear to think about.
I don't even care that much about the money. I just want the opportunity to see if I was right. If Tyhee goes to $100 per share it won't change my lifestyle one bit.
