I believe it is best for all of us to make ourselves aware of the rights, concerns and interests of the Yellowknives Dene indigenous people. No doubt some of them are already shareholders and will follow/participate in this forum more and more as time goes on. Tyhee will benefit greatly by retaining them as active participants as it follows through with its intention of becoming a gold producer. But I am sure Tyhee managment's game plan is to make sure the locals are also going to benefit from this positive experience. The economic and social spinoffs will hopefully provide a mutually beneficial environment for all participants.

I have come across some information we should at least review and understand how it is important to involve them as all steps are progressively taken.

My grandfather was a Mi'kmaq and I can identify with First Nations people wanting to be part of any changes that will affect them or their future generations. A vexillolgist will explain that to present a flag as a gift is to indicate acceptance. Obviously there will be hurdles and discussions as time goes on, but DW and company are taking the right steps to include those most affected. It has served them well and they are on the right path in regards to social acceptance of the Project.
