I haven't done a survey of all open pit grades in North America or anywere, but when I read what Dr. Diane Garrett is saying about her company, Romarco Minerals, I wondered,
1) if what she says is true, and 2) if true, should Dr. Webb be saying the same about Tyhee?
Here's what she said, “ We’re in a great jurisdiction, and the grade is almost twice what it is with any other open pit in North America or anywhere.”

Anyway, compare, and you be the judge:
Romarco's open pit (Haile Mine) grade is 2.06 g/t*
Tyhee's (Ormsby's proposed open pit) 3.41 g/t, and 2.95 g/t at Clan Lake's proposed open pit**
