Looks like a new mine just got approved in the Northwest Territories. While it's not gold and may not be close to Tyhee, it shows a willingness by the Mackenzie Environmental Impact and Review Board to approve new mines, and in this case there were apparently issues around it being near a National Park/Heritage area. If this one can get approved, then perhaps it is a good indicator for Tyhee.
