What if, whatever transprired to lead up to DW being removed, what if DW was asked what to say and that DW himself replied: "I don't know. Say nothing for now, and we'll figure it out and put out something appropraite the next day" or words to that effect?

What if it was his call, that the wording be done with care, and he himself needed time to consider it?

Can't we just forget about it for a day?
