Message: Could Be A Gamble
Probably a good idea to hedge Tyhee by purchasing WCX, though it looks like that might have already happened given the share price rise in WCX. Some have already decided that the reputation of WCX has not been muddied like Tyhee's has for whatever reason.
The guess of a billion dollar value on the Big Sky was a shot in the dark just to put some perspective on the sale but someone might elaborate on this or disagree and of course it is subject to discussion. There are no other ways to measure the value of this thing.
The Ken and Blue Claims which are adjacent to the Giant Mine are likely the most valuable, and have the 2% NSR. They comprise about 40% of the total Big Sky according to the website.
I am no mathematician but what is clear is that 50% of each NSR (@ 1%) can be bought for $500,000, so the value of each NSR @ 2% totals $1 million, or $2 million for both properties. Combined, 50% of this total is $1 million, so if 1% of the total property in the Ken and Blue claims has a value of $1 million in NSR, and these comprise 40% of the total Big Sky land package, the total NSR (@ 100%) of the Big Sky would be $250 million, not a billion. Below is the extract from the website. I know it's all like pie in the sky but sorry about the misunderstanding. Ike
"The BigSky property is located 17 km north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The property is comprised of five mining leases covering 137 hectares (338 acres) and 20 claims totaling 1,853 hectares. The Ken claims, covering 193 hectares are subject to a 2% NSR, one-half of which can be purchased by the Company for $500,000 at any time. The Blue Claims cover 588 hectares and are subject to a 2% NSR, of which one-half may be purchased by the Company for $500,000. The balance of the property was acquired by staking and are not subject to royalties. The property adjoins the Giant Yellowknife Mine (past producer of 8 million ounces of gold from 14.5 million tonnes of ore grading 17 gpt) to the south and east, and the Bluefish hydroelectric power plant on the east."
