In the future it might be determined that Clan has more ounces than Ormsby??
What was meant by the above statement is that grades of gold at Clan appear marginally better than those at Ormsby. Add to this the fact that Clan has not had as much drilling done. Remember that to do a final resource calculation a great deal of drilling is required, especially for gold. So should Clan someday have a complete drilling review it might prove better and larger than Ormsby currently exists.
Clan currently stands at a point that Ormsby was in 2004-2005. Likely needs another 80,000 to 100,000m of drilling to compile its resources into a feasibility study.
Many in the industry know that 500,000 proven ounces is the first step to mining as a bare minimum and that the smaller the host deposit the better. Otherwise you need a massive low grade deposit. There does not seem to be a middle ground. Either low tonnage-high grade of very large tonnage-low grade.
From what I have read Tyhee's Clan lake is an exceptional gold potential it just needs much more exploration. Exploration that is currently not happening.
