I spoke to Spanish Mountain Gold´s IR man on Friday to get a better idea of what seemed to be some similarities between them and Tyhee.
Both companies expect production in 2015. Both have M&I gold around 2M ounces. They, on the other hand, expect their FS late in 2013. We expect Tyhee´s yesterday.
BUT! Spanish Mountain´s M&I cut-off grade is an amazingly low 0.2 gpt, whereas Tyhee´s is 1.25 gpt.
This perhaps might explain why Tyhee´s 1.95 M ounces of M&I averages a grade of about 3.5 gpt, whereas Spanish Mountain´s similar gold resource estimate of 2.17M oz. has a much much lower average grade of about 0.6 gpt.
So, not only do I expect to see Tyhee´s FS deliver a significantly higher (now 1.95M oz.) M&I resource from using a lower cut-off grade, but I also expect to more added ounces that have not yet been accounted for from the drilling at Clan and Nick Lake following the PFS.
