Thompson Creek (TCM:TSX) had 374,000 shares traded today (mcap~450 Million) $994,800 = 0.22% of mkt cap

Tyhee Gold Corp had 514,000 shares traded today (mcap~27 Million) and rose 6.7%. $41,120 = 0.15% of mkt cap

Even on a good day, we lag in true (dollar-weighted) volume. When we are ready to really move up the volume will consistently be in the several millions of shares. Until then, it's all noise. Including the current price action. No analysis will be necessary when that occurs - just think bang.
