(PRESS PROFILE TAB FOR FACT SHEET & UPDATES)
I'd like to echo Woody's comment about tax loss selling. ( Echoing persons shrewder than I is a pastime of mine.) Unlike the casual investor who desperately sells some shares on December 31 not actually knowing where s/he stands on taxable income, the big tax selling moves have already been underway. I trust they are over by now for Tyhee shareholders. If not, maybe another penny drop very temporarily. If one is a worrier, perhaps one should avoid checking stock share values everyday. Another penny down, at this point in time, and I personally would modestly up my share acquisition target.
Obviously, this remains a speculative stock, but I like the odds. Common sense should be our guide on how much we 'wager'. I wouldn't bet with my rent money. But I like this bet.
And to my fellow Americans. Let's remember to vote today. In my political science seminar yesterday, the mock vote was Obama 13; Romney 9. But the results were reversed in the Wisconsin U.S. Senate race with Republican Tommy Thompson over Democrat Tammy Baldwin.
And to my Canadian friends (I secretly could be very happy in Vancouver city or Montreal), you should be proud that once again we hear if so and so gets elected, "I'm moving to Canada". Canada, still the first choice for disgruntled Americans. But don't worry, we're just talking smart about the move.
