I suggest there is a good possibility Soros may have have dumped some GLD...while at the same time he is loading up on every ounce of gold bullion he can find. In the months ahead I'm sure it will leak out what the reality of his present activities are...if we care.

Again, this strikes me as simply part of the current propaganda to temporarily and artificially drive down precious metals/miners. There is no true price discovery available at the moment. All is a game to harvest profits from market bullying. I'm ranting here a bit as I am deeply invested in these areas, but I am not leveraged and try to maintain some cash positions to add as the prices are artificially mauled...all the while I hold my current positions in the knowledge these bastards will change the direction to cash in on their long positions eventually.

Speaking as an American, what irritates me most is the regulatory silence, if not cover-up, the almost zero knowledge (of the game described) by congressional oversight committees, and in some cases the complicity of the executive branch. And I'm supposed to teach students how wonderful the U.S. is being governed by the 'Rule of Law'?
