Those who still hold shares in this company certainly would not sell them now even if they could.
You may be old enough to remember the story of Bambi (an early Walt Disney film).
Thumper, an audacious young rabbit, saw Bambi moments after his birth when he first stood up. He was hailed as "The prince of the forest" as he had been fathered by the great stag who was at the head of the deer family. Thumper exclaimed, as Bambi stood up all wobbly, "He doesn't look like a great prince to me."
His mother admonished him, "Thumper, remember what your father told you!"
Thumper responded, "If you haven't got anything good to say; then don't say anything at all."
That is good advice in the present situation. We are all (painfully) aware of the current state of affairs and don't need to have our noses rubbed in it.
