There are a substantial number of analysts and financers that know little about the NWT regulatory regime. What they have heard is the anecdotal information that it is impossible to permit a mine in the NWT. It is to these people that Dave Webb's permits should speak volumes. I personally know of at least two financings that did not go through because they had the belief that mines could not get permitted. Brian Briggs has faced this issue a number of times over the last four years.
