One problem now, about investing in companies producing tires might be the currency exchange, (depending where you live) so you might not be any further ahead unless you hedge. Another is the present market downturn and volatility, but we check the charts for that anyway. I live in Canada and am waiting for the C$ to get above the U.S.$; if and when that happens again.

I suppose you can look at Rubbernews.com  and go from there. It's hard to say which companies are among the top producers and have the top performance until you compare them. I think of Goodyear, but there are others.

At Rubbernews.com there is a link to Rubber News China, but the page appears  all screw-haw-gee'ed, so to speak. lol! but they might have it fixed later.

Sometimes I use the the Yahoo Finance website, When you type in the name of the company or the Ticker symbol, it will bring up a page with the latest quote for the company, and other info. such as Competitors can be found. I tried Goodyear, the ticker symbol is GT .

At the left, look on the list and find "Competitors," which are on this page.  At the bottom of some of these pages you can find some news about the company and industry.

Another way to find them might be using a search engine, GOOGLE or other, and use the term "Rubber Companies" or "Tire Companies" or similar. Globeinvestor.com is another source you can try.
