Keep an eye on the Canadian Railway companies, too. A lot of proposals being floated for northern railways (into the Yukon, N.W.T.). Nothing substantial yet, but it's coming, I think. U.S. Government already offered to pay for  a line through the Yukon, but the deal was shot down because they wanted to control the line to bring sensitive military gear to Fairbanks.
