I've decided that I need to increase the amount of physical metal I hold in my safe here at home. I picked up some Kennedy silver half dollars 2 yrs ago when my brother decided he was tired of keeping them, but I would really like to get some gold coinage as well.

I really don't want to drop $1,000 at a time to invest, but also, want to try and avoid the larger markups on the smaller coins/bars out there.

My question is has anyone found a coin in the $20-$200 range that seems to be a good value without too much of a markup?
