TYPHOON EXPLORATION INC. TSX VENTURE: TOO

LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - Nov. 6, 2008) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TOO) is proud to present the results of its winter 2008 campaign. Nineteen drill holes (19), totalling 7,589 meters, were realised on the Fayolle property owned 100% by Typhoon. (See map at the following address: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/TO... ).

The drill holes FA-07-28 to FA-08-08, FA-08-10, FA-08-13 and FA-08-16 were realised in the central and the west to northwest areas of the Fayolle deposit. They were initiated in order to verify the west lateral extensions as well as the vertical depth of the mineralized envelopes of the Fayolle deposit.

These drilling confirmed the mineralization geology and demonstrated that it is possible to find extensions with significant gold averages such as:

Drill holes FA-08-09, FA-08-11, FA-08-12, FA-08-14, FA-08-15, FA-08-17 and FA-08-19 were completed in the east area at more than 450 meters (1 480 feet) east of the Fayolle deposit.

These drillings confirmed the presence of very significant gold mineralization defining the presence of a new showing "Mc Donald showing" with gold intersection averages such as:
