As the company has bid almost $500-million in this round and has bid more than $650-million in previous rounds, Globalive is beginning to emerge as Canada's fourth national wireless company. With bidding slowing down to a trickle with $15-million worth of new bids made in this round and the auction looking close to wrapping up by next week, odds are Globalive is the company to beat.

The next question is who will be willing to spend another 1.5-bill to take out LOK if that's their worth or simply merge. How would the average shareholder benefit from such a move. I would hope that Alex would prefer all cash and look for some other opportunities.
Bell/Rogers could put in a good offer and at the said time buyout their lawsuits. I wonder what will happen if anyone else decided to put a offer for a buyout of UBS/LOK what happens to the Lawsuits. At this point in time what other assets UBS has besides the Lawsuits..? So.....the combined value for UBS/LOK lets say 2-billion.... is that fair enough..Alex..lol..
OK...lets all settle for $10.00/share and call it a day. sorry I am still dreaming but you never know. I remembered in 1999 most of us thought UBS was worth 0.60 to 0.75 before to long we went to 17.00 plus.
