Bob, I was thinking the same thing. What the hell do the Teacher's need Bell for -- all that antiquated landline copper? They could crush Rogers and Bell with wimax, and their investment would be a minute fraction of what it would've been with the Bell deal. I realize that they were buying the customers/subscribers with BCE, but provide them with a better mousetrap and they will leave Bell in droves -- I know I will. I guess its a little more complicated than just that though, who knows. We'll have to wait and see. I wonder how many shares the Teachers unloaded in the high $30's? My brother - in - law is a field tech with Bell and I bet him in the spring that this deal would never see the light of day -- this isn't news to me.
