Fed auction in the summer raised $4.2 B for national coverage (33 million pop.)
And Look covers 18 million pop. (55%) so we're down to $2.3 B
And the economy is baaaaaad, so let's discount 50% for that (sound about right Al?) -- so now we're at $1.15 B
And now just for good measure and to negate any chance of being labelled a pumper or a dreamer, let's slash another 50% -- so how does $600 million sound to you guys ($3.00 / share).
I think one poster stated it best -- if they can't get this minimum for it in an outright sale, they couldn't sell cold beer to an alcoholic. But it begs the question, do the scoundrels wish for an outright sale and exit stage left?
P.S. I must say though that I would prefer Johnny's method of valuation (from a previous post) based on the $3.00 per pop./mHz that Montreal garnered in the summer auction -- that would put it at $25 / share. Not holding my breath though -- no offense, Johnny.
