exactly Crotch -- if anyone thinks that an insider is going to come anonymously to the internet chat boards to dole out some free inside info to make a bunch of people they don't even know some money is frankly on something. Firstly, you're right, it is illegal, but secondly, logic says that human nature and greed would keep the riches for themselves -- why share the cheap shares with the "peasant class". And that goes for vice versa as well -- why would a person in the know warn the sheep of impending bad news when they can flog their shares on them instead before the price dives. I challenge anybody to find any deal that has ever been done where it was first divulged with any degree of detail on an internet bulletin board -- it doesn't happen. Take the BCE deal collapse for example -- some profess to claim that they foresaw this coming (in great detail, yet they never stated the fact of the "insolvency test" before hand), but the fact of the matter is I could see it coming a year before it happened too for the simple fact that it didn't make financial sense (was I 100% sure, of course not -- again nobody can predict the future). But you have the types that will harp on and on how they told you that the deal was going to implode with certainty, but the fact is if you didn't see it happening especially after the "credit crunch" there's probably something wrong with one's mental capacitances (LOL, I always wanted to use that word in a post just to feel important, ROTFLMAO)
