Check this out especially the last line of the article -- next week!!! When will they vote on this? Doesn't mention industry specifics, but says investments that are not "injurious" to national security would be allowed. I don't think that, let's say American ownership of a telecom venture would be too disastrous to Canada's well - being :) Could this perhaps explain the action of the last 2 days. Unbelievable, they snuck it in with the confidence vote for the '09 Budget.
