I agree with your comment about leaks. Here's another thought; There are likely quite a few conditional offers on the table waiting for some of these conditions like FO, Globealive's approval, Inukshuk lawsuit, etc, to be resolved first. If so, UBS may still be stringing all the bidders along and they can't risk breaking the silence as they believe they may still have a shot depending on how the cards fall. JMHO.
