DisplaySearch has a report out there (i think they charge in the $1000's to receive it) that has a headline of "Touch panel market exceeding $13 Billion this year"
We believe from the company that the touch sensor commands some 80% of the module cost. Anyone here have some industry research that confirms this??
Last point is the slow plating process, which I understand has always been a problem and the company has made considerable progress over the last year. The whitepaper that he links in the "comments" section at 2:00 AM this morning was written in FEB of 2004. Enough said about that garbage. Tech has definitely advanced over the last 9 years
His comments about the touch sensor not commanding the pricing that Reed has stated numerous times perplexes me. Isn't Uniboss a touch sensor??
