I noticed what DaBoss posted last week about the on line sale that Dell was having and my wife kind of wants a laptop just to do surfing, email, photos etc. so I checked it out and ended up talking to someone in Dell online sales. They are selling an Inspiron 15 basic machine for $199+tax and I thought that would work for what we needed. When I asked the representative how to know that I was ordering the machine that she and I had discussed she said "it will say Inspiron 15 non touch." Looks to me like they are blowing out the older stuff to make way for the next wave of laptops that have touch capabilities.
